Transmission swap
I am considering swapping my automatic 4R100 for a manual ZF 6. The truck is a 2002 F250 4x4. The question I have is if you have any advice orifice you have done this yourself. Thanks for any help you can give.

I have no clue who BTS is. I do know I want to swap out for a manual transmission. Is there any other manual transmissions you all would suggest I should look at? I know the swap is going to cost, and be painful. Any help you can offer will be appreciated. Thanks.

BTS is a bullet proof auto transmission built by Brians Truck Shop. Since you really want the hand shaker I would suggest that you look for a doaner truck that you can scavanage all the pieces and parts from then hopefully sell some of the rest of the truck part by part to recoup some of your $$. IIRC even the PCM is different.
