you also don't need ford to reprogram the vsm vehicle security module and you can remove old one and install new replacement unit within 40 minutes compared to the time ford gives around 4 to 6 hours now at 150 dollers an hour you can save money and install your self once installed you can program the vsn through the obd2 port
