You'll probably need to measure that one yourself.

I have no smog pump... Just an idler pulley... Appears to be factory...

Also have no cross over tubes on head nor the manifold...

Also have no air running to the cats... Appears all to be factory set up in my 96 with a 351

Yes it is factory assuming your truck is a Bronco or F150 with OBD-II

OK NOW IM LOST AND YELLING DUE TO CAPS LOCK... .

One problem solved and moving on ... I have been searching this topic and till this thread all others said this could not be done on my 5.8 with the low mount tensioner. So can i do this or not? I hate the search feature and different info on different threads!

My air pump pluming was deleted years ago but was in place as a idler till today when it locked up plowing and cost me 2 hours at 65 an hour.... I dont care to gut it if this is a working solution. Need a new belt after todays lock up anyways...

EDIT/UPDATE
Parts guys are truly worthless around here. Any one have a part number for that 96.08" belt. I could almost get it from the pics here but just cant see enough of it.

Gates K060960

This is a 96 inch I figured .08 of an inch is not that big a deal.. We will see

Staff note: Edit the junk tags ! 1988, 460ci, 93, 94, 96, f150, f250, f350, ford, home, motor, problems- waste of search terms add smog pump delete truck and trucks can go too.. some people dont get tags.

Does not fit.... fail and no ride to parts store caz I pulled the smog pump to start. I knew to pull the pulley and test fit it first too lol... Im thinking that .08 is a typo of .80 97 looks like it will work and a later post of this thread said 97 also..

awesome update bud! After buying 4 more belts I found only one gates belt I could get to fit w/o a crow bar wrecking the belt off the break. Its 70 1/8 th long but I have not updated this because it squeals at start up/big puddles. I cant find a 70" 69 and 7/8 ths was too short . About to pull the trigger on an smog delete idler I think. I cant have this slip when the boss calls for amperage plowing...

when i swapped in my 351 i tried rerouting the belt on my 94 the the low mount tensioner. after 5 trips to napa i put the smog pump back on and ran the stock belt. i tried evrything i could think of, i tried the same routing as the diagram posted by jborushko but it was not tight enough for me. i will be ordering the bypass pulley in the near future

What MFGR did you go with price and site/store? I was looking at the two that Summit has. One says its up to 93 5.0 mustang.Thinking that will work on my 95 5.8. The one that lists up to 95 is just bling and over priced to me. Plastic and cast alloy is up to the task of an Idler for me...
