07 f150 5.4L missing
i have a 2007 f150 with the 5.4L. just recently got dual exhaust put on. k&n air filter and oil changed also. not that those two have anything to do with it. truck ran excellent after dual exhaust was put on. last few days been starting to run rough. mainly idling. goes from running perfect to putting it into reverse to back up and starts missing like crazy and you can hear a loud ticking coming from the motor. put the truck in neutral and hit the gas one time and it clears up. does not do this all the time but very often. any ideas? maybe o2 sensor? thanks

i keep reading about people on here having bad luck with K&N and these new 3v's. Oil residue getting on the maf(?) sensor.
Ive never had a problem with these filters before but they seem to be bad voodoo on this site.
But to your problem I have no idea if that is your problem or not.

i never had thought about that. it just seems like it is more to it than that. idk. cuz i put the filter on before the exhaust and it did not start missing until about a week after the dual exhaust was put on. but if i cant figure anything out or have any other suggestions i will take that out and put a regular filter in. thanks
