free power?

hey guys my friend has a 12 vavle cummins and thers all kinds of little stuff you can do to get more power or make it smoke more... i was just wondering if theres much you can do for the 7.3? ive herd of bb shim mod. and resister mod but if someone has any write ups let me know.

yes, there are a couple mods to up your truck assuming your not going to get a chip. the bb mod ups your fuel pressue to assure your pressure is right, 65 is golden. you just take out the brass nut on the side of the pressure regulater and take out the slide in there that the spring goies into, put the bb in the bottom of the slide, and reassemble.

10k mod goes inbetween a wire on the ICP snesor which is located on the right side of the block looking down very clsoe to the fuel pressure regulator, circular, screws into the oil galley on the head. that ups the oil pressure thus a little more fuel and alittle more power. all trucks react differently! some trucks like just a 10k resister, some trucks take more. my truck set a code after 14.7 i think it was. i forget who it was but they went on a dyno and had great success with the 10k mods. up to 90lbs of torque if i rember correctly.

you can do the hot pedal mod which gives you more voltage, you can look that up. and the last i can rember is the IDM mod which ups the voltage to the injectors like the superdutys already have. you can look that up as well.

sweet thx for the help... ill have to try some. but most seem to have somethin to do with wiring not my strong point. but will a copper bb work? just curious. would have tried it last night but gotta be 18 to buy bbs.. bull ***** haha
