Propane is around 100-110 octane. So while it takes more gas to create a stoich charge the power loss is negligable. You can regain SOME of that power by advancing the timing but not enough to make it worthwhile on a dual fuel setup. It's cleaner burning and cheaper. It would only be about a 10% power 10% fuel economy difference. If you can live with that then it's for you. If i were to do it it would be more for the cool factor than anything.

yeah, we were but, Im not sure. Any gas engine though runs off the fumes of the gasoline. Propane is already a gas that burns more efficiently than gas. Not really sure
