Successful Day!

I had started rewiring the driver side headlights the other day and didn't get very far. I went back to it this morning. My Dad got frustrated quickly and suggested I take it to someone. I kept looking and thinking until I figure it out.

Working headlights!

Then I re-ran the wire for the tail lights.

Working tail lights and brake lights!

My wife took the headlight skirts into the shop and learned to use the sandblast cabinet. She put a little paint on them.

She started sanding the bumper today too.

It was a successful day.

I hate electrical work, just on principle, but there's a lot of satisfaction when "the lights come on"! Definite proof of a successful fix. Congrats!

Good Job!

But don't take your truck "to somebody" to do your electrical stuff. It is SOOOOOO simple to do - as you probably found out. And honestly, there probably isn't anyone out there who knows any more about wiring the old trucks as much as we do here.

So, if you ever need help, feel free to ask!
