Rear end squatting

I have noticed that the rear end of my 05 250 seems to be a bit low. The helpers are only an inch away from the frame block pads. Is this normal or should I look into ordering up a couple new springs.

Springs do loose their arch over time or if they are overloaded... but make sure all your mounts are not cracked or bent.

It is probably cheaper to have a spring shop re-arch your existing springs, if you can find one in your area.

Do you have the snow plow package? I see your plow logo avitar. Certain spring combination's in the F250 make the rear sit low. I see many of them driving around like that. I believe that this is more prevalent on trucks with the snow plow package because of the springs they use up front...

I agree. I swapped my rear blocks to compensate for the snow plow springs up front. It was level unloaded and put the slightest load on it and the rear looked saggy. Now with the 4" blocks it sits slightly higher in the rear and when loaded or towing it's deal level.

hes talking about the distance from the rear helper to the stop not the front springs, his best bet is too get the procomp long add a leaf, it will give him a little lift in the rear and added payload

Understood... His distance on the helper is probably normal as is the appearance of sag for his set up. The snow plow package uses a beefier and possibly taller spring up front but changes nothing in regard to the springs on the back of the truck, this raises the front ride height of the truck to compensate for the front sag caused when a plow is mounted and gives the appearance that the rear end is sagging when it is not. I agree with you though that if he wants to correct that he needs to either put in a different rear spring set or change the blocks.

Yes it normal Our 01 F250 like that. But it was on #2 leaf springs in 300k miles. First one snap then second were garbage it sag so easy.

Isn't this gray with long bed and ext or crewcab? I have see that truck sag badly with 1 pallet of full salt bagger.
