Has anyone tried putting Ford Expedition front bucket seats in the Bronco? I have a 1996 and I'm thinking about doing it. Thoughts?

I know the 40/20/ 40 from an f 250/350 superduty work, I would like to see the expi seat swap

 

I'll keep you posted. I'm trying to buy a set of 1997 Expedition tan leather, heated front buckets for my 96 Bronco

 

I just ordered some off 97 eddie bauer expy seats (both heated tan leather, driver side full power) off of ebay for 350.00 im going to install them in a few weeks. Im also going to upgrade my FTE so I can post pics. When I start my swap ill document it. Keep us informed on yours too. They were asking 450 but I talked them down to 350 shipped even. My armrest broke on my drivers side and it drives me absolutely nuts. I figured it was time to upgrade. I already have an 2000 F150 Center console in mine. (awesome upgrade, the cup holders are 40x better) Ill post some pics of that too. I only had to drill one hole and it was in the console, it used the same 3 mounting holes in the floor as the old console so nothing in the floor had to be drilled. The only problem is when I fold my rear seat forward it is a very tight fit, but still folds down fine. anyway im rambling..

What does FTE mean?

From what year superduty? We want to do it to my son's Bronco '92.

 

Dont try the expedetion seat swap, the floor mounts are way bigger than the bronco floor and dont even come close to matching the curvature of the floor. 2004+ may be different... I tried 1999 expys. Unless you want to do some major fabrication to the lower seat mounts.... you could make them work but they sit much higher than the stock bronco seat. I mocked mine up and my head was up in the roof. 6'2''

 

What about swapping the frames from the original seats onto the expedition seats? I was hoping to try that at some point, because I knew they were different.
