those are high up! not really, just check your piston to valve clearrance with some clay if you have a 0.100 clearance on the intake and 0.080 on the exhaust you are good to go!
hey do you know how much cc do your combustion chamber has, and how many ccs do your piston have? And what cam are you using,just to check your Compression tos ee where you stand on octane...

Had the same issue with my 400, new 10.5:1 cr flat tops from TMI, were about 0.005-0.006 over the deck, my heads are 2V open chamber 78 cc.
I took a standard head gasket 0.039".
The engine has done it´s first 50 miles and no problems so far ...
Watch for the right fuel because of the little extra cr depending on your cam.
