I've never owned a 1967 and I've never inspected any 1967/72 hoods.
All I know about the hood is: The parts catalog lists C7TZ16612A .. Hood Panel thru 1969. In 1970, Ford replaced it with DOTZ16612A / Fits: 1967/72 F100/750.
Since the question about the hood never came up at the parts counter, I was unaware it was different.
Questions did come up at the part counter concerning the '67 door's internal parts, brake/clutch pedals and etc. These same questions pop up here on FTE all the time.
