I dont know how the bass would be a cause of it but it is defiantly possible for the vibrations from daily use to cause the crack to grow. Especially in an older SUV that is easier for the bass to resonate.

figure someone might wanna see that video, that is one of few that shattered a windshield. That system is no longer in that vehicle. He is now running all of the company i suggest which is Incriminator Audio.
