IIRC, John Woods did that so why not ask him? I wouldn't go to a salvage yard for any TC. That is, unless you believe all kinds of BS about "gently used", "low mileage", etc, etc. Basically, used car salesman talk. How will you verify that it is low mileage? Even if it is, what did they do? Flush a little fluid thru it to clean it after the trans has shredded?

aklim,
I have DI regulated return still in a box.
Have you had any issues with his system?
I asked about a spare line just in case I had a problem on the road.
Do you have a spare line?
I purchased his high pressure cross over line also.
Did you notice a difference in power/less injector noise?
Please advise
Thanks
Tim

Mine is in the truck.

Not yet. It has been a couple of years.

The worst problems you will have is getting the bolt on the back of the head out. I like to use teflon on those screw areas.

No, not necessary, IMO. There is only one danger and that is the one on the driver's side that might be close. In which case, all you need to do is put some tubing on the outside to shield it. In my case, I changed some things because I have the BTS pump setup. That stacks a reverse rotation HPOP on top of the stock one. I had to get some plumbing fittings. You might not have those issues. I don't think a spare line is really necessary. It comes close to the turbo but has not rubbed yet.

I was advised by Dennis of ITP not to use the High PRessure Crossover because I had a twin pump setup. With the twin pump, the pressure is equalized anyways. You might be different.

The kit helped quieten the injector noise a lot as verified by the Wife-O-Meter. I use her because she doesn't know what does what. That means her answer is the least tainted. You know those kids that put on a throttle body and feel a 50HP increase in the power, right? When I put the twin pumps on, it was a little quieter. I think that is about all you will notice. Power difference, I don't think it is meant to do that. I suppose with the #8 getting a little more fuel, might give it just that little better balance and maybe a fraction of 1 HP but I don't think you will notice that much.

Hope that helps. Feel free to ask more if you want
