torque converter

hello all i am shopping around for torque converters and i am a little stuck now i am trying to find a good torque converter that is reasonable price wise that means pi ats and the big names are out. i was thinking racer x or valair. post up what your thoughts are. also the reason for the search for the torque converter is p.o had put a torque converter on that has a very low stall and my engine is having problems driving it under the powerband saps the low end power out

Valair.

They sell Diesel TQ's too. =)

I'm not sure who you'd want to call and talk to though.

They got a bunch of new guys in there.

Good Luck, He's so busy. I hope he responds though, he probably knows.

I have not had a chance to learn about the TQ's yet though, otherwise I'd give you more info.

Just call down there and yack at the guy who takes care of them.

I'd ask Dan, but he's busy working on his truck. New motor. It's pretty.

I'll tell it to you this way.

The Valair guys who are pulling are pulling with auto's.
Not stickshifts.

I talked with Dan.
He says ring up him, Gary or Nick.

I don't know Nick, he's one of the new guys.

I deal with Dan and Gary.

I got a triple disc billet one from racer x. I can't give you a real honest opinion yet though, as I haven't really driven it since I got it in. What I have driven it seems to be fine, but I haven't gotten to tow with it yet. It's supposed to be really good, better be for what it cost. I don't know what you mean by too much money, but this one was 900ish.
