rear abs module

as i understand the rear abs is electronicly controled corect??? there is a rear abs module mounted on front frame rail under master cyl.do these things ever go bad????even after 20 years of never being replaced????auto zone and rock auto do sell replacements leading me to think somebody has had one go bad. you guys rule . my racing friend told me about this site. he s in mustang and other fast fords sometimes got a bullit stang . me 93 f250 7.3 stock, 90 uhaul f350 7.3 c6

Personally Ive never heard of the module going bad, its usually the speed sensor that packs in but I don't have any first hand experience with it, neither if my trucks have ABS.

The RABs valve can have/cause problems........ If you want the RABs info for 93 PM me your email......

Just had to order one myself for a 94. Havent fitted it yet but have been told it can cause spoungy pedal when the go bad. Everything else is new so that was the next step.

Does anyone know if when this module goes bad if it affects breaking performance. My stopping performance is lack luster and the other morning my rear wheels locked up on me so I am thinking the module might be bad. I have a F350 4x4 CC with rear ABS.
