Speedometer Cable Gear Change - NEED HELP!
Speedometer doesn't work or bounces a little. I need to know what gear to buy, a part number or something b/c i can't find one.
Also this is on my 4.9L 1988 F-250 with 5spd zf-542, 4x4 BW1345... The tires are bigger so I don't know how to get the gear... Is there a conversion chart or something? Origional tires 215/85-16, Tires on it now 265/75-16.
HELP!!! someone tell me how to get the right gear and yes I already asked the local tranny shop and they are absolutly NO help...

Ford Bronco Speedo Gearing
Try that calculator (your ZF will have either a 7 or 8 tooth drive gear), and look here for the gear part number: Ford Ranger/BroncoII speedometer gear change/calibration
I got a 21 tooth driven gear from the local dealer for around $3.
