Hello everyone here`s my problem hope someone can help. The wife took the truck to work last week(yep its been down a week)and it was about 15 deg outside when she started the truck and took off for home. Will the truck did not make it home what she said it did was lost speed and died.So i had it towed home, ive replaced the cps with a new ford one the tack does move some when i try to start it, but all it does is crank,no start!took the tunner out still no start, fuel pump comes on,glow plugs come on and work.So i checked the hpop reservoir and had to add a quart of oil.Than i tried to start it again all it does is turn over no fire!IM trying to get the owner of a shop that i know over here to scan it but so for no luck!whacha think?
Have him scan ICP & IPR DC % ,, may be an injector o ring if the res was low . Are you getting any smoke out of the exaust?.. Is the WTS light coming on ?...Have you tried plugging it in (block heater) ?...
no smoke comming out that i can see,wts light does come on,ive plugged it in and have it on a charger.also i have new glow plugs, and new injectors just doesnt fire! and i have to keep putting oil in my hpop
ok that sound right! But after i fill the hpop with oil shoudnt it start?
I did pull the connector off the icp it did have oil on the plug but still wouldnt start with icp unplugged
Without the LPOP filling the HPOP Res I doubt the HPOP can maintain the 500 PSI to fire the injectors.
If you have to keep refilling the reservoir there is definitely a problem with low pressure oil supply.
