still not running! I did get my AE today thanks CLAY,there was no codes, was able to buzz the injectors and hear them but the scanner said there was a unknown malfunction?Im just lost now
Did it originally slow down then die when driving? I wonder if your IPR isn't stick full of gunk. Just helped a member off the mountain this weekend and it was his IPR that was full of gunk. Just thinking out loud.

he went through the troubleshooting progressions and that's where it led him. He also had issues with the IPR before and when he cleaned it, the truck would run better. When it died this weekend, it was the first time that his truck flat out quit on him. He started loosing power, he put it in neutral to find a place to pull over and on decel, it quit. Couldn't get it started until he pulled the IPR and cleaned it. There's a tread that has the cleaning procedure: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...clean-ipr.html
What else have you done with AE, Greg? After you hook up the scanner and go through the getting codes part, look near the top and you'll see a Live Data tab. Click on it and you'll see 9 boxes show up with a drop down menu below each box.
Select ICP PSI in one box, then ICP % in another. If you want, choose something for the rest of the boxes too, like RPM, EOT, Voltage, Injector pulsewidth, then after you've done that, try and start the truck.
Watch to see what your ICP psi gets up to while cranking and watch to see if the ICP % (IPR) increases and what it maxes out at.

man i tried that and my batteries were so low after playing with AE that it wouldnt turn over fast and would start to click! So i have it on a charger over night and ill try that later!
Turn the key to the on posistion, step out of the truck and put your head under the truck and make sure you can hear the fuel pump, if you can't then chances are it's the fuel pump.
The reason I mention this is because you said that the truck slowly lost power which sounds to me like it wasn't getting fuel anymore.
Also you put oil in the HPOP and there was another post that states that it should have started for a second and it didn't.
Also you said there was no smoke which sounds to me as if the cylinders aren't being filled with anything.
ok, then put a pan under the fuel bowl drain hose and open the fuel bowl drain valve and turn the key on, make sure it's pumping fuel, it should come it as a nice strong steam.
