Brake Cleaner is OK to use. I had a link to cleaning instructions, but it no longer works.

No problem. I would like add. After cleaning, lube the it with some light oil or WD-40. The brake clean will dry out the moving parts.

That's why I mentioned that. Too much brake cleaner will dry out the moving parts inside and cause sticking. The oil is thicker and will take awhile to work its way inside to lube them. The WD-40 helps to prevent this.

I searched their site too and the instructions wouldn't come up. Good thing I saved a printed version. I may have to scan it later and keep a file on it. Only the pics will be too small to post clearly.

Here's a PDF I made while the site was stiil up. The thumbnails still enlarge so it must still be out there somewhere. If I find a new link I will post it.

Save this PDF.

It's the thought that counts. Thanks.

The thumbnails still enlarge because they are hyperlinks to this URL that is an index for Lux. LINK Still haven't been able to find the original write-up URL. cw-diesel.com didn't turn up much either.
