I bought the trim that runs across the center of the dash for my 64. Does anyone know where I can get the clips that hold it on? I need to find the proper hole size and location for the holes also. Thanks.
I am seeing a clip part # of 379852-S3 (GG100A) . According to what I am reading you need 8 total to install the right and left moldings. See what Number Dummy had to say on it...
The two dash mouldings were also used on Custom Cab's without a padded dash to define the two different dash colors (if applicable), but...
These moulding were not used...as original...on 1961/63's.

8) 379852S3 .. Dash Moulding Clip / Obsolete / No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
Two clips are used on the short drivers side moulding, Six on the long passenger side moulding.
The parts catalog does not list the size. These are scissors type clips. In other words the ends of the clips form an X.
The same type of clips were also used in passenger cars and can be bought at automotive paint supply stores.

Mark: GG100A is not part of the part number, it's the bin locator number for these specific clips.
Since Ford had 1000's of hardware items, they came out with cabinets with long/wide pull out drawers with multiple "rabbit warren" compartments for the myriad hardware.
Each specific type of hardware had a one or two letter prefix locator code. The locator code for bolts, for example is BB.
Went to napa and auto body supply.(no match)I found some similiar but they would not fit in the channel right. I might have to use a diffrent style clip.
Would send a templet but unfortunately the 65 CC is stored and don't expect to be visiting in immediate future. A local auto body shop should carry the clips. Also found, particularly with Napa auto parts, need to ask the parts clerk. If don't find thru mentioned sources found Restoration Specialties, Inc. carry lot of the hard to find nuts, bolts, fasteners, clips, etc., might want to check out their online catalog. Also, friendly customer support, occasionally send them a sample of a particlular item and they will return with same, or as close to sample they carry.

1962/65 Fairlane's, 1964/65 Falcon's have a thin moulding below the dash pad that uses the same style of clip.
dearbornclassics.com has these, their part number is: DPM100
These are pictured and listed in their catalog in the Hardware & Fasteners section.
On the same page as these clips, there are door panel clips listed for 1965/79 cars, that also might work, as they're the same style of clip.
My catalog is several years old, so the page numbers will not match up to Dearborn's current catalog.
I have this trim still installed on a 66 f250 I'm choppin up. I could pull the clips for you. I would imagine that they slide in the trim and the location of the holes is not paramount as you could adjust where you locate the clips in the trim.
