lock out removal
I have a 03 F350 dually with manual lockout hubs. I am having to replace a bunch of seals and am having trouble getting the lockouts out. The person before that owned the truck pulled a heavy trailer with the truck in 4 wheel drive on dry pavement and I am thinking that may be part of my issue. Does anyone have any advice on getting the lockouts out of the hub?

Put a CRAZY amount of WD40 or PB blaster or another penetrating oil around the hub and grab a big rubber mallet.
Hit the thing over and over again in all different directions and start trying to pull it out by shaking it up, down, left and right until it comes out. It took me longer to get them off then it took me to rebuild them on my truck.
