i'm talking with my tranny builder about it right now. think we are going to send just the shafts and gears this time. i'm going to call 300 below and see what they think about cryoing the syncros and shift forks.

Ya that would be the smart thing to do, whatever I tell you would just be speculation haha. Just sounds like a good idea to me, and it would be badazz to say your whole tranny is cryo'd.

Just have my tranny builder send them a bucket of parts and tell 'em get after it and don't lose the bearings!!!! LOL. i'm going to get ahold of 300 below tomorrow and see what they suggest on the syncros and shift forks and then discuss with my builder about it when he gets it torn down.

well worst case, even if you dont end up cryoing aton of parts you will still end up with a new tranny. Which will be a night and day differnece for you I'm sure, seeing at yours has 300+ on it and I'm sure that you don't drive much different than I do haha. I remember you saying something about you were talking with Valair about some bad azz dual disk clutch not to long ago, are you going to put that in there with the new tranny or do you already have it in the truck now?

2nd OBS dual disk will be put in with the new tranny. at least i think it would be the 2nd Valair OBS dual disk. haha.

also will be changing the front u-joint. got under there yesterday and holy crap the u joint is sliding back and forth in the straps. tightened down the straps and they are tighter than a gorillas fist, but the u-joint still slides.

Remove the straps and set them down on some thing flat and "flatten" the arch a little then reinstall them. They stretch a little some times.
