Snowed pretty darn go here thursday.. So friday I'm at work running a enloader,Caterpillar 950G not a big one but not small either. Guess what I learned??? A loader cuts a killer donut in the snow!! now i'm guessing most people wouldn't know that and it got me wondering what else would be fun in the snow??
I'm sure you all have some ideals.......

Yeah, I found out a few years ago that an Airport Crash Truck can do donuts in the snow as well.

Sure beat the cr@p outta the dumpster I hit. The d@mn thing wouldn't even stand up on it's own, so I had to 'fess up

4WD articulated farm tractors do donughts in icy school parking lots also but I figure my dad can go without knowing this.

I never knew the delight of actually doing the donut until I bought my truck, but I always got a kick out of yanking up my emergency brake going about 30 mph in the snow with a carload of my buddies. The first time I did it my friend squealed like a little girl and grabbed the handle and about cried. I love that trick.

donuts in the snow

i have a 2003 Yamaha Grizzly 4 wheel drive ATV with a 660 c.c. motor, push button 4 wheel drive, a winch and 27 inch mud tires.

me and a bunch of buddies were out on the ice today, if i put my 4wheeler in 4 wheel drive high, crank the wheels all the way and give her, for a while, i can do 360's faster than an ice skater !!!

usefull tip: do NOT try this with a hangover i almost lost my breakfast!!!!

Hey vampiro you say your car don't do them well, that most mean its front wheel drive. With front wheel drive you can do them backwards even easier. Just turn the wheel all the way in either direction and then floor it. You'll find yourself spinning. Or go foward and pull the E-brake. (also know as the parking brake) That works best with the hand pull type brake.

I find my 4wheeler works good for donuts but thats what its made for. I have done fish tailing with my bus. I wouldn't dare a donut cause of the high center of gravity with the risk of hitting a dry spot its not worth it.

Everybody should do donuts, it is the bestway to see how you vehicle will handle in an emergency, check your own reflexs and have a little fun doing it. I've done this all my life and love it,even tought my kids and wife how.

When I first started in the car business, I worked at a Chevy dealer. A couple of us would jump in a Sprint and drive over to the Ford dealer right after they plowed the lot, but before they put all the cars back. We'd do reverse and e-brake donuts like crazy, while all the Ford salesman stood in the showroom window and just laughed their Butts off!

We also discovered back then the best donuts are done in an old Caprice Classic wagon. Have someone drive the car while you're sitting in the rear-facing 3rd seat. The g-forces you pull are unbelievable!!!

We started off doing them at the High school lot, then onto the street. some times out into the country roads with 3or 4 others, just to have someone to pull you out of the ditch, them things happen!
1956Mark, is that your other car?, my other car is a1956 Ford.

My ranger with it's LS rear can do some serious doughnuts, just crank the wheel and goose it.
