Carb help?
ok i asked a few question on here about this recently, but im about to order a rebuild kit and i just wanna make sure i got the right info before i do it. I got a 78 f250 with a 460, and it pops/backfires a lot when running, and im pretty sure my secondaries arent even opening. I have an Edelbrock 600 cfm, first off, is this a big enough carb for this engine? and do you think a rebuild kit will help solve my problems?

It's big enough for stock and not much more. Have you checked you timing and adj. the valves yet. Check the ing. first and see if that helps. How old is the carb.
As for the secondaries take the top off and grind some material off the weight.
