After just a couple of thousand miles on a new engine, I notice quite a bit of corrosion on the cap and rotor. Is there a HP model for these? possibly made of a different material for the high energy system?
Hi, glad you're driving and not the other so much. I have always tried to get the brass contacts myself, but have had no problems with either. Only stock ignitions though. I have had the aluminum contacts get a lot of oxidation and still perform well, same with the brass. Are you experiencing performance issues, or just concerned about seeing the oxidation?OBCB
Hey thanks. As you well know 1 problem at a time. HA HA as if they come that way. Don't blame you for being sensative to every little anything at this point. Shows good character. I can't wait for the article, also saw your request for an interview of a well respected contributor. Good luck, lots of good to come from all of this. I've never heard of this use for WD40, but then I have'nt heard everything----yet. Just let the fumes disapate before firing it up, it will go pop. First hand oops!OBCB
