Changing CAP and ROTOR

When I change the cap and rotor should I use any grease on the cap contact points? Or should I install them as they are right out of the box??

Install them as they are right out of the box. Grease is a big no-no. The rotor doesn't actually contact the 'contacts' in the cap anyhow.

You can use dielectric grease on the center spring contact of the rotor, and on all the outside posts for the plugs wires though.

The job went well!
The firing order in the chilton manual was not the same as the writings on the engine compartment on my truck.
