LED resistor question

If you are installing a resistor to fix the flash rate for LED turn signals, can you split the "hot" wire on a resistor and wire the one resistor to both bulbs?

I would tap into the downstream side of the blinker can, it is in the fuse box on my truck.

Is there an electronic blinker can that does not use current flow for the blink rate?

+1 They do make flashers for low current draw. This is the easiest fix and if you change back for some reason temporarily (ie broken light) it is easy to change back.

In theory, no you will be giving power to all turn signals this way (right and left).

You're right, but I was assuming he meant "both" bulbs as in both the front and rear on one side. Either way, I think an electronic flasher would be the way to go for this.
