Replacing Evap Gas/Fuel hose
Hi, was checking out all the hoses under the hood. The hose running from the EVAP can (green connector) to the intake is looking pretty rough. If you touch it your hand just comes away black. I did a bit of looking for the hose and I'm coming up with anywhere from 30 to 120 bucks. It doesn't look that special... has anyone replaced it with just regular hose? What did you use? What size diameter? Looks to be about 3/8, but kind of hard to say. Would much rather pay 2 bucks to fix it than 30.

Well, i guess no one has used just a piece of hose to replace that evap line. Anybody have the part number and the approx. cost on the actual ford evap hose to the throttle body. Has anybody found it online for cheaper?
