LTL Mule-The 6.2 has 385 horse isn't that more than the v-10?
I had the 6.0 and the 6.4 in my 08 but I to didn't want to spent the extra $6,000 for the diesel this time so I went with the 6.2. I had a v-10 in my 2000 which was good power but sucked on fuel the 6.2 ia sapose to have a lot better fuel economy. I guess we will see how it is soon....

Two Questions,
  1. What is the width of the rims offord? (used to be that XLTs had 8 wide and Lariat had 7.5 wide)
  2. Why dont they offer the DVD sysyem?

There's no DVD system? Interesting. It seems that DVD's need to go away they seem way obsolete now. It's been 8 or so years since I purchased a "DVD", I just download everything. Is there a LCD screen somewhere anyway?

Colo. Ford Dealer seeing $$$$

Finally, Med$$d in Denver area has a 2011 F350.

Excited to see this black beauty, I took in the grill, bold badging on the sides, Nice!

Here's what they have. One (the only one) F350 Lariat 4X4, crew cab, long box. Of course, 6.7 PSD, 6sp auto. Bunch of other add ons including a 12.5klb hitch.

STICKER SHOCK!!!! Not only was the sticker $60k +, the dealer added on another $1k of dealer added options! Total $61K +++ !!!!

Nice truck, just don't want to end the recession for this dealer on a single sale!!

Will wait for a 'demo' to become available!

jammer

New truck

First time on this forum, but have done some research from it.

Just bought a 2010 F350 dually. I was looking at the 2011 diesel, but the incentives just weren't there. Damn they looked great though and the interior was looking good. THERE WAS NO PRICE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 2010 AND THE 2011'S. Both engines were in the $7,000's as an option. For instance the F350 2011 I looked at went for $53,600 while the 2010's were the same price, but had a whole lot more incentives.

Got the dually because the dealer offered a total of $11,400 cash back if i financed a traditional loan. My 2003 F250 was starting to fall apart and I just don't want to keep getting it repaired. Things started going wrong at 100,000. Had the truck since late 2002. Just had a fuel pump and EGR replaced on it and when I got it home, I had a bad radiator leak, coming fromt he top of the radiator and the connection where the fluid from the coolant tank hits the top of the radiator. Enough was enough.

Is there a reason why Ford doesn't do, or do they ever plan on doing independent front suspension on their super duties?

SFA makes a better platform for heavy duty applications. The overall market demands SFA.

Ok. I figured there was some reason. I just know that GM HD trucks have IFS and they ride a lot better. But that still isn't enough reason to ever take a Ford out of my hands.

Yes - because then we would all be driving Dodges instead

The Ford dealer in Loveland has a 67k 2011, and they are going to lift it next week. Should take it right on up to 70k. I saw someone driving one yesterday on the street...It was brown and gold

riding better unloaded and riding unsafe or with smaller loads =GM

Riding a little harsher but able to move and stop the load safely, plus bigger capacity = Ford.

60+??????

Here, there was an XLT 1 ton with front bench FX4 srw for 53600 after add-ons. The Lariat package was 56+.

Pretty soon, us regular folk will be priced out and will settle for purchasing a new motor/tranny for 1/4 the cost.

I don't see how it could be as expensive as some of these guys are saying, because I built one the other day, King Rang with all the most expensive options it would let me add and it was $65k MSRP. So I don't see how they could be any more expensive than that.

what is the truth bout that

Ford was to come out with a Cummings Diesel by Ford
I see the Ford has a new motor 6.7
is this it or did Ford just stick with Powerstroke and made a new one ?

Thanks
I've been having customers ask the Cummins question since 1996!! That one just won't die! I just sold my first 2011 F350 SRW last week. King Ranch 4x4, maxed out, nearly every option.

I was over at the dealership near me about a month ago now. They had two 2011's on the lot. Real nice looking trucks. I thought that was good enough for one day, then a 2010 Shelby GT500 turned the corner to be loaded onto a flat bed. Got to hear it run, and actually helped load it. Sadly, it was being transported to NJ to be sent overseas.
