I was wondering if anyone had any info on putting a higher geared rearend in my 79 Supercab. It has a 351M, C-6 tranny. I don't need the pulling power since I'm not hauling anything at this time. Most of the driving it gets will be on the Autobahn. Will the taller gears help with gas mileage and speed or am I wasting my time. thanks

Mr frog it will, you will need to go lower in number. If you now have a 3.75 you might want to try a 3.00
