I have a 2000 F350 V10 with 70,000 miles. The truck has never been tuned up. Im not a macanach but I would like to do as much of the tune up as a can. I dont have any mods and have stock tires. My question is what do I need to change or replace. I know there is a lot of brands out there of different parts but I was hoping some one could make it simple for me and give me a list of what to buy. Thanks very much for any help.
Replace plugs with OE spec Motorcraft plugs, replace COP boots, clean MAF (CRC MAF cleaner available at most parts stores), replace fuel filter, clean or replace air filter, good idea to replace PCV valve, clean throttle body. Just some things off the top of my head. Motorcraft replacement parts are good and for the ignition components, filters and etc are worth paying for. I do use Napa gold fuel filters though, they are a quality US made filter. Would be a good idea to inspect belts, hoses and vaccum lines while under the hood. The tensioner pully bearing for the serpentine belt is probably dry and rough by now.

Good maintenance info, here's some part numbers for you to go off of too.
Plugs : auto lite 103's (factory ford equivalent)
Fuel filter : NAPA 3296
Oil filter : NAPA 1372
cleaning the MAF, get you a good "contact circuit board cleaner" that leaves no residue. that's the biggest thing, it can't leave any residue on the little wires. some people have said to take a q-tip and "lightly" clean the wires. i personally use the contact cleaner and the red tube and haven't had a problem. you might be able to clean the throttle body with it still attached, some good parts cleaner or degreaser will do the trick.
5/16 disconnect tool. if you have a harbor freight, or similar type store around they have a whole kit (4 or 5 tools) for around $10. if you catch a sale you can usually get them for cheaper.
but any of your local parts stores should have one for you.
