AMP Research Powersteps INSTALLED! :)

My wife and mom went in on these together for my birthday. I've been wanting them for a while but haven't had a chance to get them.

They're by far the best addition i've made to the truck! Nice and clean when they're up and functional when they're down.

Ahh, someday...

They look wonderful!

Have you thought about getting the extensions to make them lower?

I did think about the extension but wanted to try them out first. Now that they're installed, my 5'2" tall wife doesn't struggle AT ALL getting in. No need for the extensions honestly.

Here's a before (with NFAB bars) and after shot....

HUGE difference now with the AMP steps.

^^ That idea actually worked for me! My wife always complained about having to "climb" into the the truck and the one time I convinced my mom to get in she actually asked why I DIDN'T retractable steps! HAHA! In the end, all it took was a birthday for them to get it for me.

How much more would you say that the power steps come down compared to the nerf bars

I love my powersteps as well, I bought mine locally from craigslist also. Even though I practically got them for a steal, but they are really stealthy, everyone who gets into my truck always comments about them.
