You have yours hooked up to your alarm? Thats pretty trick. I just have mine hooked up to when the door opens. Looking at your pics though, it looks like your rear brackets are not far enough back? It looks like there isnt enough support on the back of the steps, though, I know they hold up to well over 600 #'s.
I have them hooked up to the door triggers and my alarm. You are correct, the rear brackets aren't far enough back. I'm going to move them Monday. The rear most location wasn't drilled out and I got lazy since I knew only my daughter gets in the back (weighs 50lbs ).
your truck is beautiful ... and those steps look great ... i was going to add those to list of things to get for my truck then i hit my running boards while off road and they saved me a little bit of damage so i think ill keep mine till i learn to off road less or lift my truck lol ... but they look so cool
