ccv mod
I am looking to put an 6.0 intercooler on my 96' 7.3. my question is do i need to do the CCV mod to put on the intercooler? If yes, why? or is this just a good mod to do anyway? What exactly is the mod.?
I am still trying to round up the intercooler parts. Will a intercooler off a 2006 work and just get different pipes?

I know that if you don't do the CCV mod when you have an intercooler then you could blow off the intercooler boots with the oil that gets into the intake. Others might chime in with a little more info.
