?

Dumb question, but where is the most idea spot to place the floor jack? I need to loosen the tension on my springs and place them in their proper spot. (previous owner must have beaten on truck) (2wd) The local shop wants $260.00 to do it for me.

place the jack under the Ibeam where the steering knuckle is, jack it up and put a jack stand under frame, then let jack down after loosening the retainers and it will be loose enough to move into place

$260? That's crazy.

Couple years ago before I had access to any air powered tools, I had a muffler shop remove my stock coil springs and put some new Moog CC844's in for barely $100.
