Does anyone know if there is any difference between a 351m & a factory stock 400m, other than the bore?? Thanks in advance for the input.. JBL.

JBL, The 351M are identicle for the exception of the stroke. The bore is the same. The 400 has a 4.00" bore and 4.00" stroke. The 351M has a 4.00" bore and 3.50" stroke. Other than that, the two are excatly the same. Hope this helps!

If I remember correctly the larger was sold as a 351 - 400, and not as a 400

One other thing that is different in the 400 is the pistons, the 351's cannot be used with the 400 crank due to the fact that the wrist pin must be placed higher in the piston due to the longer stroke. Chcuk P.
