Thanks everyone, She has to be pretty special to put up with me I think. Glad your in Las Vegas safe & sound Michelle. Yea the free air show is a bonus I always thought. I use to go to January practice in Las Vegas when I lived in Pahrump. Most of us would end up watching the jets more than the practice.
Pat I checked in tonight & will continue to stop by & visit both you & Steve & all the great people in your chapters.
It looks like it will be Monday for my truck. But the transfer case chain is tight, They are going to reseal it. front output shaft seal was leaking a little, the front drive shaft needs new u-joints. So that was good news, considering I was sure the transfer case may need a chain.
I'm so much happier being back in Lovelock. This is such a better situation for both of us. I have a lot more to do. I'm finally giving thought to opening a knife shop here. I'm a Custom Knife-maker & I have a pretty good following here. I sell all the major brands of knives also. The Mobile Home/RV Park we are living in, the owner told me he would rent me one of his shop rooms to open up for a very reasonable price, Like $50/month. We are right on the Main St of town.

Good morning everyone This is definitely more like it. I am in Mesquite and it is almost warm enough to go outside without a shirt on. I saw the results of three slide offs due to the snow on the way down here yesterday.

I picked up a zf5 trans for my truck before leaving SLC. $100 for both the trans and transfer case. Wednesdays are half off days at one of the wrecking yards. I found that and snagged it. Just a few more things and I can pull my auto trans and put the manual trans in

 

Hey Jeff, you'll definitively need your shirt here, it was COLD here this morning! Nice snag on the tranny/transfer case. I love going through wrecking yards!

 

Good afternoon everyone. We are sunny & about 50 degrees. So we are almost no shirt weather here.
Now Pat I was watching the Olympics the other night & there were guys watching the sledding with no shirts on & it was snowing. So it is all in how many brain cells you have, if any. Ha Ha.

Evening all,
I just got back from Barstow and it was far from warm there. Nice in the mornings but windy and cool. Which turned to very windy and cold in the evenings. We were on the range and had winds at 45knts several times. Doesn't make things exceptionally comfortable. Off to the Speedway tomorrow. Doing some volunteer work driving DV's and handicapped from the parking to the bleachers. Should be a good day as I have an all access pass. We have certainly fallen behind on our page a day total though.
