I am picking up my new injectors tomorrow, after install, what would be a sign i am having IP issues? I just want to make sure that i keep an eye on it and know what signs point to my IP being old and tired. It looks newer than the engine, that is for sure but who knows on the actual age. thanks fellas!
I've had to change a few, The first was low power. The next was white smoke that smelled of fuel and burned your eyes, that new enjectors didn't fix. If I had knowen of this forum, this one might of just needed a strong dose of Howes or Diesel Clean. The last one was hard starting when warm. Three pumps three different reasons.
Injectors in, return lines in, new radiator in, new exhaust part tomorrow!! Whew it was a busy day.
Question though. On this return line kit the drivers side cap nearest the radiator was single ported on the old one but this one is dual like the other corners. Can I just T into the main return line where it is rubber fuel line or should I just cap it with a small piece of hose and like a bolt in the end?? Should it be T'd in somewhere? Is this part of my issue with rattle town?
