Ok,this goes way back but maybe somebody can help. My kids still have a nintendo 64 they play occasionally. they are playing nascar 2000 now and want to save their progress, but the controller pack does not have enough free space to save their progress. How do I delete the data that is in the controller pack? thanks!!
No knowledge of the 64, but you can probably get a wii and download old games onto it.
We downloaded Toejam and Earl for our wii ( a cult classic from the original Nintendo console days). So, if they have stuff that old, you can probably find anything.
It's a spendy option, but then you have new hardware. We were on our 3rd nintendo console and TJ& E cart. They're getting pretty hard to find
The other alternative is to buy a new controller pack. They run something like 2 bucks used from EB/Gamestop, if you can find them locally. Otherwise, they do sell them online from thier website, but you have to cover shipping too.
Of course, I forget how to access the memory manager...my N64 has been in a box since I moved again a few years ago.

I'm still waiting for Mortal Kombat to come out for the wii
As for the N64 controller pack, the answer is in the link jake00 posted but I'll repeat it anyway - Insert a game cartridge. Hold the start button and turn the game on. The memory card will come up and you can delete what you want.
