FRX

I just received the FRX from Riffraff The back fitting on the drivers will just go into the hole with no room for the hose fitting against the baby but. Has this been a problem for anyone else. The threads are up against the exhaust. Thanks A Curtis

Do you have an early 99?? You need to get out your grinder if so.

What Joe said ^^^^.

There was even a thread with photos about this.

So if yours is an early-99, get out the hand-grinder and some coarse stones.

If it is an early 99 you have to take a little off of the up-pipe collector because that setup is shorter.

Here is where you need to grind for clearance on the early 99 uppipe collector (Baby Butt).
Try not to get as carried away as I did.
This was for the DFA CCK but same for FRx.

I would need to grind a 1/4 inch into the babybut to make it fit. don't think I want to do that much grinding on mine. I have no up pipe showing above that area. Thanks A Curtis

A 1/4" off the collector is not going to hurt anything.

You shouldn't have any upipe showing above that area.
The upipe is all below that area.
