Truck looks real clean. Dealer never said anything being done to either front or back suspension?? The rake does look bigger than usual...maybe just how the picture is. Definitely a nice truck though man.

excellent looking truck. I pestered a guy that lives 10 minutes away from me about buying his truck that he never drives because it was black like that. Sadly, he wouldn't part with it.

I'm guessing it's the rear, the front looks about right for a 2wd. do you know if the truck was sold with a towing package, as an option?

Thanks, how can i tell if it has the towing package? the dealership told me that it is all original and that i am the second owner of this truck and that the first owner bought it new in 93'. The truck was owned by a older man in his 70's and didnt need it no more, the only thing modified is the cd player and exhaust, but everything else is perfect except for the cracked dash around the speedo and light switch.

I'm not really sure what the tow package inlcudes... But i do now that my 95 had the tow package. and the rear springs looked like this:

I don't know for sure, but besides the overload spring on the top, there may be more leafs. and that truck definitely had more of a rake, than my non-tow package truck.

The tow package I'm thinking had the overload leaf...? Just a guess don't quote me on that.

I'll have to go out and count the leaves on both trucks in the morning to see if there is actually a difference in the number, but for some reason she always sat like she was hunting for squirrels.

PS. I quoted you!!!

I don't know if that was standard or optional, You see alot of fords with them, but then again, quite a few don't. That was one of my favorite features in the red one. I haven't decided if it's practical or not, but I just loved it.

Also, if you check under your bumber there might be an external connector, for brake lights and such. This would for sure verify that you got the towing package.
