What are the most common reasons for th engine light to come on?

just realized my hypertech will read codes so let me see what it says.

 

1074 - engine too lean... what can i do for that?

 

trade it in?

 

i had the same code on my 04 and it was the fuel injectors, some are proably stuck. i took mine to a shop and they cleaned all injectors for about $70. that was the problem, now my truck drives great, and i use lucas fuel additive to maintain clean fuel lines and injectors.
