Emissions Test

Hello all,

I'm new to the forum as you can tell. Seems lift you have a knolegable bunch on here...

Does anyone know if the 6.0 PSD can pass an emissions test with out the EGR system functioning?

Go to the search bar on the top of this page and put in EGR emissions. I believe some of our members have been tested in the States that require it and they have passed w/minimal if any issue. BTW, WELCOME!!!

Does that mean it's broke, bypassed or what. If not there it could fail the visual part of the inspection depending on the person doing the testing and how sharp he is.

I was thinking of by-passing completely by removing/replacing the up-pipe tee and puting a block plates where the EGR valve use to be... I don't think they do visual checks where I am only exhaust readings. I will have to check to confirm.
