Which 1959/74 Galaxie horn ring might that be? There is only one type that will fit.

1963/64 Galaxies used the same plastic horn ring retainer (C2DZ13A809A) that the 1961/66 F100/250 2WD's, 1966 F100 4WD's, 1967/70 F100/350's used

What horn ring did 1961/70 Custom Cabs and 1965/70 Rangers come with?

Did you say it's the same as 1960/63 Falcon's? Correctamundo.

The 1960/63 Falcon's 3 spoke steering wheel was also used on all these trucks, and 1966/73 Bronco's.

I saw Roberts truck...and wheel at the west coast nats 2 years ago...and the first thing I saw was that wheel...that pic doesnt do it justice..its a beautiful piece...especially in the sun on a hot Ca. day :-) I did make similar comments...but I do admire the craftsmanship. As for Roberts comments about being in a heavy beast of a truck vs a plasticar of today...I totally agree with him...Id rather be in my 45 or so year old beast with armstrong steering and die then a new car...all they would prolly have to do is open a door and get me out vs chopping the car to shreds...whatever would be left...to retrieve something to lay to rest...

The wheel is great...but I does appear to be aluminum...and as such...if thats the case...whats coating it so your hands dont go grayer faster then peoples hair ???

LOL You have to remember the wreck might not be with a little fiberglass car, and it definately doesn't have to be head on. One wreck I had was Tboning another ford Pickup and the steering column was laying in the floorboard of my pickup, the only usable body part left was the tailgate. On another one was a horse. they are still as tough as they were 100 years ago, and yea the steering wheel sustained heavy damage in that one too.

Are you referring to mine? It's made by J&B Microfinish it was specially made for me. Here is what they normally make.

#1576 - 61-66 Ford F-100 Billet Dash Insert
I contacted them regarding just the round bezel and after a few emails with exact measurements they made mine. Very nice work.

Look at his steering wheel pics above and you can see a side view of his dash with the Dakota Digital gauge.

Not the best pic, but it does really look slick. Had to trim part of the dash to get it to fit. It is covered up by the bezel anyway. I did not like the 66 dash. I have a couple of earlier dashes in reserve for future projects. Dakota kit comes with electronic speedo, digital water and oil temp sensors, and you can always upgrade for other options. Having a tach build in keeps you from needing the redneck steering column or dash tach. It is equipped to add a shift light if your into racing. This pic was before I took it on the road and calibrated the speed or calibrated the fuel tank sensor.
