I had a side window made locally by a guy who is careful, using my old (cracked but intact) window. I've fought it ever since, it is maybe an 1/8th" too wide. That's going to be tough to remove without cracking it and starting over.
Thanks, my buddy owns a glass shop and he's already cut the wind wings, door glass and he asked for a template for the back window, the only glass I didn't have.
Thanks Doug
Yea, it would have probably been better but he is cutting the darkest glass I've seen. I want it really dark tint so, we're cutting it. He has the rubber and the truck, just thought if I could find a template for the back glass it would help. Thanks for all of your suggestions though!
One thing about dark rear glass; I put light film on mine and I get nothing but reflections from it in the rear view mirror at night. I don't know if dark glass would be the same.
Hello,
I know this is an old post but I need the same pattern, do you still have it? If so could I get a copy? I'll pay for paper and shipping.
Thanks
Doug
Doug, I can send you a copy if you like. PM me an address
Trying to figure why you dont make your own template. Just mark the
exact window opening on stiff carboard give it to the glass guy, they
know what to do. Your truck is no different than a backhoe or something,
thats always getting smashed glass on the job.
