hey i'm ready to buy a chip and after doing a little research have found php to be cheaper. i was looking at the F.U. package...500 bucks for access to all the tunes sounds like good deal...can't hardly get 6 tunes from dp for that money and with php i can change it as often as i want. Are there any pros and cons of each? next ? is how do you order a php. i've tried to call them for a week and never get an actual person always we are out of the office or on another line...leave a message and they don't call back....and to order a php you need the code off the connecter to the pcm well....my sticker is gone so how can i order one? thanks guys
I have an '01 and have the PMT-1. You will be happy with which ever you decide on. There are others out there too. Some people decide on which is closest to them for live tuning.
Alright i'll be straight forward and im sure ill catch crap from this but.... I went the cheap route and then payed for it. I first went with the PHP Phoenix chip because it was more affordable. After driving two DP trucks, i instantly within a week ordered my DP F-6. I gave up having 6 tunes on the PHP, to 1 tune with the DP. Let me tell you, even though i only have 1 tune i am way happier with the DP. My 80E on the DP is equal to the 120 Race on the PHP. Just my .02 but i am just being blunt about it and saying that i am way happier with DP.

I apologize that we haven't gotten back to you before now. My sister was diagnosed with cancer in mid-December, and everything's been kind of up in the air since then because we didn't know if or when we'd need to go to Missouri. I was in ICU with her for almost a week before she passed away on January 14th. As you can imagine, it's been a little chaotic over here.
Are you the same person I spoke with on the phone today? If not, please know that as of yesterday, we're back in the office. The phones are ringing off the hook as usual, so if you don't get through right away, please try back again in a few minutes. We'd be happy to help you.
Someone recently asked about our prices compared to some other tuning companies. Simply put, we only charge people what we believe is a fair price. I actually spent about 15 minutes on the phone with an F-150 customer today and convinced him that with his mods and his plan for future mods, he really didn't need custom tunes and that he should look for the best price he can on an Evo instead of purchasing our Gryphon programmer. He was a little amazed that I would do that for him, but as I told him this afternoon, "Life is too short to screw people over for money." Would the sale have been nice? Yeah, but I'd much rather be able to look in the mirror and know that I did the right thing. Another customer will come along who DOES need custom tunes.
