IH CPS part #. replace your grey or black CPS with this one!!
@Talyn So you have one of the new Riffraff CPSs in your truck currently? If so, what is your overall impression?
I've had the factory grey in for 5 years now cause my old black one went out.
And ... I forgot how nice my truck can be to drive.
It's cold starting better. She's been a bear with the cold and starting for a few years now, glow plugs are good though.
I can only guess the more accurate timing helps there.
But yeah, something different just like with the black CPS's. The butt Dyno can 100% tell with out much effort that the truck runs better.
I'm waiting to see if it helps with my blowby issue. I have a lot of blowby and with a leaky oil pan, I generally loose oil while driving. but I'm hoping with the better timing that some of that goes away, it still will leak of course, but if the fire timing is better, then there could be less blowby into the crankcase. That's a hope though.
But yeah, more power, and it does feel clean the whole way.
I dont personally know about the errors that the black one got starting around 2,000 RPM's, clay and them tested all that stuff.
But I can tell you that it seems to sound cleaner above 2k rpm's.
My observations here are from before returning the information to clay and him telling me about the testing and what they were trying to do.
I've honestly not been this happy to drive my truck in a long time.
And I make black smoke again, isntead of white smoke. yay!
Thanks for the bump and what do you think about this one?

OOPS, I see you were talking about it already.

Very happy with it.
I had honestly just forgot I had a grey one in there and just accepted thats what I was going to have from now on with the old black ones being gone.
Just have not really thought about it in like 5 years.
