1996 Ranger wiper problem
My Ranger wipers come on automatically when I turn the steering wheel.This is an intermittent problem.If I turn the wiper switch on,then off the wipers go off.Any idea what is causing this?

There's a Technical Service Bulletin about this. The fix is to replace the switch and doing something with the GEM. I checked with Ford about doing this and laughed out loud when they said something like 300-400 dollars. 150 for the switch alone and a hour to remove and replace.
Try removing the switch and spraying the contacts with WD-40.
