I moved to this area about 8 years ago from Rock Springs, Wyoming and boy can I say that I do not miss it. I love it here. Graduated high school, class of 09, currently working 1 day a week at the local feed store as counter sales/laborer, and also looking for more work. If it involves 4x4 trucks, engines, guns, ****, welding, mud, or other Redneck fun, I'm more than likely all ears and extremely interested!

Its an 85 Ford F-250 XLT Lariat regular cab longbox 6.9L diesel 4 speed 4x4. I've turned up the injection pump 1/6 of a turn, did the soup bowl delete and straight piped it. Other than that, shes stock. Its my first diesel and while it doesn't have any power compared to modern diesels or my last truck that had a 460, I love it. Future plans are to add a turbo, gauges, and swap out the motor into a 92-97 250 or 350. I just don't really care for the 80s body style and the 92-97 body style is my number 1 favorite and since its pretty much a bolt in deal, why not?

Very nice plan I have a 63 F100 4x4, but I'm looking to putting the body on my 86 F350 4x4 6.9idi down the line. Not a huge fan of the bricknose Fords, but the truck was barely more than I would've paid for the D60 front in Cali. Love to do a Cummins swap someday...
Did the basic welding classes recently, and looking to continue about the same pursuits you're going for, but at ISU. You're just about 10 years ahead of me (I had a lot of unproductive fun those 10 years though...)
Looks like my move to Poky is being postponed for a month or so. Too much good paying carpentry work in Los Angeles for a couple of months, rather suck up all the cash I possibly can, then hit the road.

I have a '00 F350 with a Vegistroke WVO conversion. Been running the Vegistroke for about 2 years, this is the second truck I have installed it in. My first truck was an early '99 that was totaled when a '05 F350 hit me head on driving up to Grand Targhee. Thank God for big trucks!
