IDLE while stopping
When im going about 40 mph, and coming up to a red light or stop sign i hit the brakes and the truck almost stalls and then the idle bounces back up to idle. I have a trailer brake control under the dash. When im driving and i let off the throttle it holds the gear aswell...I have to tap the brake to get it to idle down and go to neutral. Am i missing something? My two vans dont do this. And they have 7.3s also.

1997 F350 crew cab single rear wheel...Automatic, no mods other than the 6637 and no muffler. When i hit the brakes to stop it just wants to stall, then it comes back to normal. Thats the best i can do on explaining it. Just picture going to stop, and you hit the pedal and within 3 seconds it goes to shut off and then returns to idle. LoL Ive had the longest day, sorry for the run on explanation!
